STRUCTURE OF INTERNAL AUDIT DEPARTMENT

The Department has four sections created in line with the various areas where internal audit assignment are performed. They include:

1. Colleges and Research Centers Section
2. Halls of Residence and other Academic Environment Section
3. Support Services Section
4. Finance and Procurement Section

Each of the above named sections is headed by one senior member except the Colleges and Research centers which have two people sharing the job equally.  A College is managed by a Provost being assisted by an Administrator and an Accountant referred to as College Registrar and College Accountant respectively.The audit staff are assigned to various areas taking into consideration their technical expertise and capabilities which would be required in the area.
